2017 SEASON HAS BEGUN

Coach Hostig is ready for another season and another run at the Section 2 title.  With a reloaded team and a team with lots of  excitement and energy, we expect Toga to be a serious contender for the title again this year.  The key word so far in this story is reloaded, because this program never rebuilds but just reloads and stays hungry for a championship.  We spent the week watching the team open the preseason and what we saw was a team with a mix of youth and experience.  The only question is who steps up to be the captains of this team.

It All Begins Here!!!

The first week of summer vacation and the future of Toga Field Hockey looks strong.  Varsity Head Coach Hostig hosts her annual camp for younger players at Dorothy Nolan Elementary School.  On beautiful fields maintained by the Facilities staff( we are a little biased since its our dad) the young ladies were run through drills, taught skills and introduced to the culture of excellence and teamwork that Coach Hostig has created over the years at the helm of the Toga Field Hockey ship.  Players were able to have fun while learning a lot from the camp staff( made up of former and current players).  The excitement for the younger girls was easily seen and they very much enjoyed working with current Toga Field Hockey players.  The older players were focused and worked on higher level skills with former players.  In the end, we came away from this camp knowing Toga Field Hockey will continue to be a sectional and state title contender for many, many years to come!!!

Thank you to Coach Hostig, the former and current players, the younger players and also their parents for allowing us to bring this review to you.

We are also excited to announce we will be bringing live games coverage to our facebook page this fall for Toga Field Hockey!!!!
